Cross Country 2000

Well folks, here is a real basic photographic journal of the trip. Dan and Al, I hope this is a good reminder of our accomplishments. 24 States, 2 1/2 weeks, 7,500 miles and one 42 hour drive. We destroied the Cayon, met God in Walmart, lived through Texas, parked at Dollywood, played wiffleball at Guadalupe, and slept under the stars, tentless and cold. From Memphis triple A baseball to hotels in Chicago, we learned a lot of useless stuff. Of course there were many important lessons...

  1. Black Bears are invisible.
  2. Tennessee is wet.
  3. Santa Fe is great for drug rehab.
  4. Hiking in the Canyon during the danger zone is dumb. THE CANYON SHOWS NO MERCY!!!
  5. You can listen to Polka Music from Florida on the radio in Iowa.
  6. A wiffleball breaks much less in high altitudes.
